Just to clarify - is this forum for Powershell in Windows 2008 only, or Powershell in general? If the former, is there a forum for general Powershell queries & discussion?

Since this is the only PowerShell forum in the TechNet forums.  I will allow any/all PowerShell related questions here, regardless of being related directly to Windows Server 2008 or not.

    Hi there,

I would like to post a question to this forum but when I clicked on the link "Ask a question" while I was in this forum, the edit page still asked me to select a "Forum Category". In the list, powershell was not listed.

This is different from when I was in other forums where I could just click on "Ask a question", the edit page would say "Post this to: Regular Expressions  forum change)", i.e. the forum was selected for you already.

    Have I done anything wrong?

    Cheers

    J Li

I've just tried posting a new post and, sod's law, it worked!

So, I unfortunately cannot repro...cearly though there has been a problem in the past and perhaps there still is.

I ran into the same problem.
If you have social.msdn.micros... in the address you cannot post directly to PS forum. But change this to social.technet.micros.. and it works :)
