I have a printer shared on the igel thinclient ud3-420 contact via usb cable.  The printer works for a while and givens up.  This the error I get on the print server..

The document DisplayDocument[1] owned by OU0152 failed to print on printer OU0152 - Stratford. Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 193788. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 2. Number of pages printed: 0. Client machine: \\TYPHOON501. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2250. This network connection does not exist.

The printer is lexmark T430 and E460N Im unsure if this a host (gdi) printer or a normal printer

To answer your question about host-based or normal printer, the best way we have found to easily determine if a printer is host-based is to look for PCL/PS drivers on the manufacture's web site or if it says one must install software in order to get the printer to work.

    .

The T430 appears to be a normal printer.  I would suggest either the PCL 6 driver or Lexmark Universal driver.

    .

The E460 also appears to be a normal printer.  It has a firmware update dated Jun 2012.
