-
Tuesday, April 03, 2007 4:56 PMHi,
is there any body able to guide
- PKI enhancements in windows vista.
- I heard Microsoft provided built-in OCSP responder / Server
in windows Vista, is it correct? If yes which windows Vista version contains OCSP server (in windows Vista ultimate or windows Vista business ...)?
- How to configure/manage OCSP responder (OCSP Server) in
windows Vista?
- is there any OCSP client available in windows Vista? if yes how to configure OCSP client in windows Vista.
- Smart card logon support and Kerberos in windows Vista.
- how to install certificate services? Does windows Vista ultimate supports to
install active directory and certificate services or it is only desktop edition?
help appreciated.
Thanks,
Best Regards

There is an OCSP server role in Windows Server 2008 and later. You can use Windows Vista as an OCSP client. Microsoft uses the role called Online Responder, so do your searching and reading on that.

Thought the online responder was first introduced in Windows Server 2008? The CA can be 2003, but not the responder role...Jason Jones | Microsoft MVP | Silversands Ltd | My Blogs: http://blog.msedge.org.uk and http://blog.msfirewall.org.uk
