Parameter count mismatch
- Hello,
Read lots of threads about this issue, but not much of help. I have an x64 machine with Windows 7 ultimate 64bit, where I have instsalled WSIM (ver. 6.0.6001.18000).
Trying to catalog Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise from install.wim, which is copied from the Original DVD to my local drive. Also, have remove the read only permission from it.
Soon as I try to catalog it, it give me 'Parameter count mismatch'. Below is the log:
4:22 PM :
4:22 PM : Windows System Image Manager execution failed.
4:22 PM :
4:22 PM : System.Reflection.TargetParameterCountException: Parameter count mismatch.

Any idea, what I could be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
As you are trying to create a catalog file for Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, you should install the latest version of WSIM. Please download it from the following site:
In addition, normally a 64bit system can only create catalog files for a 64bit install image. A 32bit system can create catalog files for both 32bit and 64bit install images.
As you are running Windows 7 ultimate 64bit, you can only create catalog files for a 64bit install image.
Hope it helps.
