    Hello All,

    I am facing a problem while deploying a windows image through WDS server.
    The details are I am using a windows server 2003 which is acting as a WDS server I have successfully captured image I am able to deploy this image successfully on some systems but on the systems on which the same hardware is there i am not able to deploy images

    I am deploying XP SP2 image.

    It is completing the text part succssfully but after first restart it gives an error stating

    A read disc error occurred

    Press ctrl+ALT+Del

    Any help will be really appericiated

    Hi,

     

    Are you sure they have the exact the same hardware configurations?

     

    Are they in the same network environment?

     

    What’s the result if you use a Windows XP disk to install the system on these computers?

    Hi,

    Yes the systems are having the same hardware configurations.

    Also,

    If we tr to install the system from the install disk,we are able to install it successfully.

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for the reply.

     

    Do you use WDS with MDT (LTI deployment method) to deploy Windows XP?

     

    I suggest updating and reloading your BIOS settings.
