I am attempting to install Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise on a new blade server. The server boots up fine, finds the hard drive, memory etc fine.  However, when we get to the blue screens to install Windows I get the message that Windows did not detect a hard drive and installation cannot continue.  I've double and triple-checked that the hard drive is seated correctly. I've rebooted several times and the system always sees the hard drive. Any ideas why Windows will not?

    Hi,

does the controller need a special driver for the harddrive to be detected. Check out if you need a special driver for the controller an load it during startup with the F6 key.

Sorry I had a braindump.  I had to run a CD from the manufacturer to load all the drivers before the install. Thanks!
