Windows Server 2003 R2 Install
- I am attempting to install Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise on a new blade server. The server boots up fine, finds the hard drive, memory etc fine. However, when we get to the blue screens to install Windows I get the message that Windows did not detect a hard drive and installation cannot continue. I've double and triple-checked that the hard drive is seated correctly. I've rebooted several times and the system always sees the hard drive. Any ideas why Windows will not?

- Hi,
does the controller need a special driver for the harddrive to be detected. Check out if you need a special driver for the controller an load it during startup with the F6 key.

- Sorry I had a braindump. I had to run a CD from the manufacturer to load all the drivers before the install. Thanks!
