    Hi,

    i have installed wsus 3.0 on windows server 2008 it is configure and downloading and distributing updates. but i unable to open or access wsus admin console in internet explorer like http://10.10.1.1 and also i tried with port 8530 and 8531. getting only iis7 internet information service splash screen. if i mention the port e.g http://10.10.1.1:8531 shows the page cant b displayed.

    WSUS 3.0 doesn't have a web management console; the only console is the one installed with the product witch is not web based. The address you typed is for clients to be able to connect to WSUS.

    Hi Adrian,

    thx for ur reply, i have configured in gpo client connect to wsus. it is working perfectly and getting updates also, just i wanted to confirm that, it is possible or not.
