Does WSUS SP2 of Windows 2008 R2 support Windows 8 and Windows 2012?

Hi All,
My WSUS version is 3.0 SP2, and both KB2720211 and KB2734608 installed. My WSUS server is Windows 2008 R2 x64.
I have a client machine Windows Server 2012 x64. The client can check for updates successfully, but always failed to install the checked patches.
My question is that does WSUS 3.0 SP2 of Windows 2008 R2 x64 support client Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8? If so, how to resolve my problem?

Hello,
Try to Reinstall KB2734608
And
Please try on one of the affected clients these operations
- Open cmd.exe in elevated mode
- Net stop wuauserv
- rd /q /s %windir%\softwaredistribution
- Use regedit to delete HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate
- Net start wuauser
Hope this can help. If no please post the lastest 30th lines from %windir%\WindowsUpdate.log
