    Hi All,

I am using WSUS to push updates to client servers. Patches which are downloaded by cleint server where it will be saved?

I am looking for these update(Critical,Security alone) setup files from WSUS server, where it will be saved. i need those steup files to install where my few servers not configured with WSUS. These setup files will be helpful and reduce my manual work searching for those updates ininternet, downloading manually, copying to the client and installing.

can someone help me to get critical and security updates from WSUS? Thanks in advance.

Is there any chance to copy the patches downloaded. Now i will ask in simple way.

My WSUS server push patches to client server, my client server will say "Downloading patches". I need the system path where it is downloading in client server.

Or explain me whats happening ib background?

    1. WSUS doesn't push updates to client servers.

    2. Downloaded files are stored in %windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download -- but there's no reason to go mucking in that folder.

    3. You manage which updates are installed by what updates are approved on the server side for the correct groups -- not by mucking on the the client side.

Rather than writing you a white paper on how WSUS and Windows Update works.. I suggest you start here:
