    The target group is not mentioned in the log.

    Which patches are you targeting on these workstation?

    And is this workstation Windows XP or Windows 7?

    critical/security updates  and the workstation is window xp; Wsus sp2 installed on windows2008 R2 sp1; target group?

    You must have created computer groups through WSUS console just to target the patches to the workstations. Is this computer the part of that computer group?

    Based on the information in the subject line -- the only thing notable in the logfile is that there are no updates available...

    I would venture a guess that the FILES for the desired updates have not yet been downloaded to the WSUS server, or that the computer is in the wrong target group. (We see this issue about once a week for the past couple of years.)

    • What group(s) are the updates approved for?
    • What group(s) does the computer mahesh-pc appear in?
    • Does the WSUS console report that ALL files are downloaded?
    • Does the update of interests show that its files are downloaded?
