I am having trouble getting my WSUS 3.0 SP1 server to synchronize with Microsoft. I am not sure if this has anything to do with it, but a few months ago I had moved the clients from a virtual server to a physical server. To do this, I buildt the server with a different name, installed WSUS, configured the settings to match, shutdown the virtual server, renamed the physical server to match the original virtual server's name. The clients have checked in and are reporting correctly. I had synchronized successfully at one point but do not remember if it was before or after the rename....© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
