AnswerWSUS Syncronization fails after configuring upstream server as a SCCM software update point

    Good afternoon,

Earlier today I tried linking our WSUS upstream server to SCCM and it didn't work out as planned. To make a long story short, I removed the WSUS server as a software distribution point in SCCM and decided I would rethink the integration between the two.

Now, whenever i sync, it fails with the following errors:

WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 65.55.25.60:443

First of all, I don't know where it got that IP as I have never seen it before. Secondly, I tried running the WSUS Server Configuration Wizard and it failed with the same error when connecting to the upstream server (Microsoft) to get lists of updates available, products and languages.

Any idea what went on here? Our upstream server has been syncing perfectly for 6~ months without a single error. Any help would be appreciated.
