There is no real time status in WSUS. You will have to wait for the clients to comunicate with the WSUS server and report, then WSUS will update the computers status.Adrian Costea - MCP, MCTS, MCSA 2003, MCITP: Windows 7

Hi, yesterday i updated 94 servers. I had testers waiting to be notified and because the servers dont report back in a timely fashion, i had no idea if they were all done. I didnt want to have to look at 94 update logs on the servers.
Is this the only way we can get the status of servers and the WSUS updates being installed?

Clients should be reporting status back to the WSUS server within 30 minutes after being rebooted after the completion of installations.
Exactly how *immediate* do you need this status information?

Then you would likely want to investigate that as it's not normal.
