wsus console is not connecting

When I tried to open one of my downstream server's console, it is not working..
Event viewer said that to remove the wsus file from %appdata%\microsoft\mmc\
but, even after that, it is not working , when I opened the console , i can only see update services. Under that the server name is not coming up.
I tried after reboot the server and restart the wsus services and iis related services.
Please suggest me some solutions.

I had some problems with seeing results in WSUS 3 console. The console itself worked, but the results window in the console would show "Error Connecting to Server"
What worked for me was:
1) Find the World Wide Web Publishing Service in the computer management Services
2) In the Properties "Log On" tab, check the "Allow service to interact with desktop"
3) execute the iisreset command or reboot.
