    Hi,

go to the client and use this command to report client data to the wsus server.

    wuauclt /reportnow

For checking new updates use this command:

    wuauclt /detectnow

    Kind regards,

    wuauclt /reportnow

This command does not work in this manner; it will not produce the behavior implied. Search this forum on "reportnow" to see any one of the dozen other threads where I describe the actual behavior of this option.

What is the Last Contact Date and Last Reported Date for that client as displayed on the WSUS server.

If the WUApp says the client is up to date, and the WSUS server still shows updates as Needed, that would suggest that the client is not successfully relaying it's updated status to the WSUS server.

    What are the errors?

If updates are Needed, but Failing to install .... then you'll need to investigate as to why the updates are failing to install.
