Word Template - locking document

Monday, June 11, 2012 12:01 PMI have a word template that I only need to update certain fields, so i have locked the document to do this, but i also have a header that needs to updated each time. But since doc is locked i can not update header, is there a way to do this with out un-locking the doc each time?

As my experience, if you protect word document, you cannot pass the verification to edit the document.

As far as I know both locking and unlocking is not possible at the same time.
