    well i asked a question on how to host a localhost server and it turned out that cassini the best is but when i run the program and go to the localhost it shows me a directory listner very handy but i wan't to put my own asp.net files on the localhost how do i change this in cassini vb

    This question is off topic for these forums.  Cassini was a sample webserver implementation and as such has no official support.  You will have to contact the developer of whatever implementation you plan to use for any additional support.
