Windows Phone 7 and Text Messaging support via Exchange 2010 like with WM 6.5

I had my old Windows Mobile 6.5 phone connected with Exchange 2010 ActiveSync and used the Text Message feature that allowed me to send text messages from Outlook 2010 / OWA 2010 (via my Windows Mobile 6.5 phone).
Now I have replaced my phone with a new Windows Phone 7 device and have set it up with my Exchange 2010 mailbox (also using ActiveSync) - works great.
The problem is that the Text Message feature does not seem to work with Windows Phone 7? Is that right? Is it not supported or is there something broken? How can I get it working again?
Here's some possibly relevant information:
- The Windows Phone 7 is running the latest "NoDo" update.
- I have removed the old WM6.5 device from OWA | Options | Phone | Select Device | Delete
- I have rebooted the phone, outlook 2010, etc.
Thank you

Per my knowledge, the feature isn’t available in windows phone 7 right now
Any ideas on when Windows Phone 7 will receive updates to increase Exchange 2010 ActiveSync Support

Thank you James - at least I now know that it doesn't work.
Is there somewhere I can log it as a new feature request (ie. like Connect)?
