    Hi All

    I am doing migration between site created on SharePoint 2007 , to SharePoint 2010

    after the migration, any creation to a new publishing site, will throw the following exception in the log 

      w3wp.exe (0x2420)                       0x2AD8 Web Content Management         Publishing Provisioning       8fia Exception CreatePagesDocumentLibrary failed. System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Workflow.SPContentTypeWorkflowAssociationCollection.PushDownAssociation(SPWorkflowAssociation associationTemplate, Boolean bUpdateIfExisting, MethodBase mbChangeEntry)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.Workflow.SPContentTypeWorkflowAssociationCollection.CopyWorkflowAssociation(SPWorkflowAssociation associationTemplate)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPContentType.CopyWorkflowAssociationsTo(SPContentType ctDst)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPContentType.SyncNewList(SPList list)     at Microsoft.SharePoint.SPListCollection.CreateList(String strTitle, String strDescription, String strListUrl, String strFeatureId, Int32 templateID, String strDocTemplateType,... 3b48c716-7521-4db9-9a25-236ad7bd5f7e


    please note the following : 

    - I upgraded other web application in the same environment and they are working fine, 

    - when creating empty site there no error, 

    -SharePoint 2007 is with SP2 

    -SharePoint 2010 is with December Cumulative update 

    -creating empty site, then activate publishing feature will generate the same error too

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if your problem related to this common error with publishing feature after upgrading

    nop , this is not the issue , we do this , and one more point, we receive the error during the migration too

    more info: 

    we receive this as error on the migration log, during the migration process

    after the migration we still receive the error as detailed above
