Web server publishingHi,

Could someone please anserw this question,

we want to use ISA 2006 or TMG but before that l want to ask this, we host 10 websites of our clients on 2 servers and we use the host headres, so the A record of all of these 10 web sites (or there domain names) are pointed to the only public 2IP address of these servers.
so how TMG or ISA 2006 would work with my story? if I understaing correctly we have to create a weblistner for publishing these web servers, and it listen on port 80, I did try to use the same web listner for both web servers but I get the error that the web listner is in use for othere web server, when I try to create a new weblistner on the same IP address(external nic of ISA) it went ok, but when I try to use it for the secound web server I get the error about over lapping IP. so is this means that if we have more then one web server behind the ISA or TMG we have to use extra IP address? (on the same external NIC).

Thanks,

Shahin
Shahin© 2009 Microsoft Corporation. But you will need to create one publishisng rule for each site you want to publish and in the path tab of the publishing rule , you will have to specify the domain /URL the clients will use to reach the specific published site.

Hope this helps. If not , let me know .

Thanks
Bala Natarajan [MSFT]| Sr. Support Escalation Engineer | CSS Security -TMG Beta support team | Email: bala.natarajan@microsoft.com | Office 425.704.4626 Bing it on bing.com Thu, 25 Jun 2009 21:13:22 Z2009-06-25T21:13:22Z
