    Hi,

are you trying to install TMG on the DC or on the other server? Installing TMG is only supported on a windows Server 2008 x64 domain member.

windows server 2008 sp1 x64(DC) made us all think you had it in a DC.

If you have all install Logs Windows\temp folder  - send it to me to bala.natarajan@microsoft.com

Also please note in some case , beta 2 needed clean install of OS + TMG in case any of the previous installation failed or when older beta builds are removed and beta 2 install was attempted.

Its better now in later beta  builds

    Thanks

run the installation wizard again, it should end up with the same error and this time remove the failed components.

    reboot

then go to add/remove programs and uninstall everything connected to TMG.

    reboot

    run the installation wizard again.

For better results download the TMG beta 3 and (after removing all the components as described above) run the preparation wizard.
