Friday, January 26, 2007 7:40 PMI am having a very similar if not identical problem. The Error Message is as follows:
The Exchange organization name is invalid. Message: '{335A1087-5131-4D45BE-3C6C7F76F5EC} is not a valid value for Organization Name. The value must not contain any of '~', '`', '!', '@', '#', '$', '%', '^', '&', '*', '(', ')', '_', '+', '{', '}', '[', ']', '|', '\', ':', ';', '"', ''', '<', '>', ',', '.', '?', '/'
This occurs after clicking the "Next" button at the "Introduction" phase of the "Exchange Server 2007 Setup" dialog.
I have exhausted myself trying to find a solution to this with no success. Please Help!
Thanks to all assistance in advance.

Monday, March 12, 2007 10:23 PMYou cannot use the GUID name as the org name when running exchange 2007 setup. Please change it to something valid, such as "First Organization"

More details:
"That error tells me that the /forestprep for Exchange 2003 has been run previously but no servers were ever installed.
Problem is - E2003 forestprep creates the org name that is that big GUID that you see there. That is however not a valid org name for E2007 to install into. This is how you remove the org:
