AnswerIE 8 Search Bar Error Message

When typing in a phrase in the search bar the search suggestions dropdown displays "an error occurred" and does not display any suggestions, unless I go directly to the search provider and use their own search on their website.  I have tried removing Internet Explorer 8 and reinstalling it but it did not fix the issue.  Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Try this, click on internet options, on the general tab, click the "tabs; settings" and click restore defaults, then on the security tab, in every zone click default level, then go to advanced tab and click "restore advanced settings" .

try this,, on the right side of the search bar,, on the arrow,, click and a drop down menu will give you the choice "find more providers" click that and on the page it takes you to, find the provider you want and add it.
