A quick question: Does Live Meeting support video conferencing between 2 places that both have Round Table devices (CX 5000).

I'm trying to look into making a sollid link between two of our offices across Europe in order to allow for proper video conferencing and was wondering wether this is possible with Live Meeting seeing as it otherwise fits all the requirements set for the project. And ofcourse it's handy not to have to intergrate an additional solution besides Communicator and Live Meeting that we already have.

Well after more searching I managed to figure out that this is indeed possible and supported in the way I intend to use it.

Can you ellaborate on how this works if there are two or more roundtable devices in a live meeting session? Are there multiple panoramas or just one, or can you choose which is device is shown in the panorama window?

If only one panorama window is allowed how does the second unit come into play? Is it just like a webcam except for the fact that it will show the active speaker?

    Thanks

You can have 2 panorama's at the same time. You can also get both active Speakers displayed a bigger window as well.

Panarama views are smaller in resolution then the individual ones as far as I know.

Also; Yes the CX5000 can function as a rather expensive webcam also which will hop to the active speaker.

I have yet to use the devices in a real scenario so all my awnsers here are still based upon what several sales people and some website have been able to provide me.

Situations like: What happens when 2 people start talking at once I have yet to get a sollid awnser on.
