Live Meeting Outlook Add In Not Working in Windows 7/ Office 2007 environment.
I recently installed Windows 7 Enterprise on a Dell E6400 laptop. The installation was a fresh install and not an upgrade. I am unable to use the Live Meeting Add In with Office 2007. The error I receive is "The Live Meeting Service unexpectedly returned invalid data. Please contact your Live Meeting Administrator." I have verified that the path to the portal and username and password work. I am also able to schedule a Meet Now meeting from within the 2007 Live Meeting Client. I have also looked at Microsoft's sites and have been unable to find any documentation that shows workarounds or details whether the Live Meeting Add in Pack for Outlook 2007 is even supported in a Windows 7 environment. Is anyone out there having the same issue? Better yet has anyone fixed this issue?

Hello Ferminator,
You mentioned using the "Live Meeting Add-in Pack for Outlook 2007."
This Add-in pack is for use with a Live Meeting 2005 conference center, and is incompatible with a Live Meeting 2007 conference center.
The Invalid data being returned is data coming from the Live Meeting 2007 conference center, which is uninstelligible to the 2005 Add-in pack.
You'll want to download and install this add-in: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA102368901033.aspx
Install this, and after configuring should work correctly.- Marked As Answer byLu Zou-MSFTMSFT, ModeratorFriday, November 06, 2009 9:29 AM
Hi feminator,
Michaelhhlmecs is right. Even though it is not yet indicated on our website, the latest Live Meeting conferencing add-in release should be compatible with a PC running Windows 7. This error message usually indicates that you are using the older Live Meeting 2005 plug-in or an old version of the conferencing add-in on their machine. You will need to have them uninstall the current version of their add-in, and upgrade to the latest version of Live Meeting conferencing add-in to resolve their issue.
Check the add-in pack to see if it is the latest one. If it is the latest one, maybe there is some problem with the install. You can follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall it to see if it will work:
1. Click “start”
2. Click “control panel”
3. Click “add and remove programs”.
4. Find the Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook and remove it. (Make sure all other programs are shut down, including Outlook.)
5. Close out of control panel.
6. Using search, find the lmxp32.dll file and delete it.
7. Power down your computer fully.
8.Using this URL link download and install the Outlook add-in for Live Meeting 2007. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA102368901033.aspx
9. Power down your computer fully.10. Open Outlook and wait for the Live Meeting tool bars to show up. Open the Conferencing link in the upper tool bar.
11. Click on User accounts
12. Fill in the URL line and leave the top line blank. Use this URLhttps://www.livemeeting.com/cc/ (users conference center name)
13. Check the box that says I log in to Live Meeting using my user name and password.
14. Fill in your user name and password.
15. Test the connection to Live Meeting.
16. If a bad connection, check the URL address and user name and password and test connection.
17. If still bad, visit http://support.microsoft.com/gp/livemeeting_oas to get an Email or Telephone support.
18. If a good connection, click OK and close Outlook and reopen OutlookHope this helps.
