i have a little question about some versions of SharePoint server.
i have installed a development version and a live version.
on my development version when i create a document library and i place in the library several maps, and i upload a document i can choice the destination folder.
when i test this on my live environment this option is not vissible.
is there a reason why this is happening?
and also some site and library templates are not visible when i create a new site or library.

Hi,
For destination folder issue, please make sure your library has one folder item at least and you have the proper permissions to it.
For nonvisible site and library templates issue, I want to tell that the different web applications can have different features and you check them at central administration > manage web applications > manage features in top ribbons. Also, the different site templates can have different default contents and features and so on and some library templates also are based on the some features.
Hope it is helpful!

HI Kimvlas,
Can you please give more details about your developement verison and Live Version, do you mean SharePoint Foundation or SharePoint Server. And more details about your environment. SharePoint features availabilty depends upon your SharePoint versions and Permissions that you have to on the Site.

whitin a document library i have a folder structure.
when i add a new document or upload a document, you recieve the popup window.
whitin this popup window i can select in witch map you can save the document.
with my live environment i don't have this anymore.
this is maybey a permission or something o dont know :).
with my development i have a library called "status", with my live environment i dont have this anymore.
i think what i'm asking is not a big issiue but i want to be sure that i have installed everything correctly and why i have different version of the sharepoint.
