Hi, When running WEI, i get the following error....

The Windows Experience Index for your system could not be computed.
    Cannot complete assessment.
The assessment or other operation did not complete successfully. This is due to an error being reported from the operating system, driver, or other component.

ive checked Device manager, and all drivers are up to date. i also did a reinstall of everything but still no joy. it just wont rate anything.!

    System is :-
    MSI P43 NeoF
    C2D E6300 1.86Ghz
    4GB (4 x 1BG) Corsair XMS2 DDR2
Nvidia 7900GS (Driver 191.07   but ive tried ealrier and a later beta too.)
Windows 7 Home premium  Full retail release. (Build 7600)

    Anyone any ideas???

    Cheers Ross.

    Hi,

You may also update the BIOS and perform the following steps to check the issue.

    Verify the UxSms service status

    ======================

    1. Click on the Start Button, type "services.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box and press Enter.

(Click "Continue" if User Account Control prompts for permission)

    2. Double click the service "Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager".

    3. Click on the "General" tab; make sure the "Startup type" is "Automatic" and the "Service status" is "Started". If not, please select "Automatic" from the drop down menu and click the "Start" button to start the service.

    4. Click OK.

After that, you can test the issue in Clean Boot.

    Good luck!

Update all drivers:especially for chipset, video card, network card.If you have installed KIS 2010 then surly this soft is responsible for this issue

uninstall it.Possibly another 3p security software can cause this issue as well.I suggest uninstall them too
