    Hi,
    I'm fairly new to the WDS/MDT game but I'm getting there :)

    I've set up Windows Deployment Services on a 2k8r2 VM, and configured PXE boot. PXE boot is configured to respond to all client computers, and ticked to require administrator approval.

    The Boot Policy for both known and unknown clients is to require the user to press the F12 key to continue the PXE boot.

    My understanding of this is that if a computer boots off of network, they have 2-3 seconds to press F12 otherwise the boot process continues to the next boot device.

    Anyway, checking WDS Pending devices today, a bunch have turned up - about 60.

    How could all these have turned up based on the above configuration. Shouldn't it only be PC's that have had F12 pressed in that 2-3 second Window?
