Windows Deployment Services - Unable to approve pending devices
- Hi,
I've freshly build a 2008 R2 box and installed WDS. It seems to be working, unless I set PXE options to require approval. The device will go into the Pending Devices queue, but right clicking and choosing "Approve" gets the error: The parameter is incorrect
I can't find anything on this, and can't find any options.
This is a VM on Hyper-V R2.
Hope someone can help!

You need to assign permssions for the WDS Server (computer object) to create computer accounts in Active Directory.

Thanks, I just gave the PC full access to a single OU in AD which is only a temporarily store and it's worked. Would be good if the error was more descriptive :)
