    Hi, I'm using a new Dell XPS M1530 laptop and the installation went soso, but i'm still having a problem with my marvell yukon 88e8040 nic card.  It has detected the card and installed drivers, but it still says that the cable is not connected.  I  downloaded a newer set of drivers, and nothing.  I have checked the cable, could it be caused by the linksys router its plugged into? Jon

    I figured out my problem with the nic card, but you all have got to promise not to laugh too hard at me.  Apparently the cord was not plugged into the router. There I said it. Have a nice day!
