AnswerHyper-V Audio Device support for Windows Speech Recongnition

I'm creating a web service interface to the Windows Speech Recognition engine in Vista and Windows 7. I'd like to run this in Hyper-V but my Vista x64 virtual machine reports no audio device is installed.

Has anyone been able to get speech recognition working under Vista running under Hyper-V? Or has anyone been able to get audio device emulation working for Vista under Hyper-V?

I've seen other threads where you can use RDP to get sound from the virtualized instance through the Remote Desktop Client, but that's not applicable to getting speech recognition working under Hyper-V.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hyper-V supports only a limited number of devices. RDP extends the list slightly. If RDP doesn't do it for you, your only remaining workaround is to use a USB audio device with a third-party USB over ethernet product such as those offered by FabulaTech. I do not expect you to succeeed with this. It is outside the intended use cases for Hyper-V. This doesn't sound like a good idea and I wouldn't attempt it.
