Client IP

    Pregunta

  • I have machines like:

    Linux - Win2k3 - Client 1
                           - Client 2
                           - Client etc

I use RAS for NAT. And question is: Is it possible to make Win2k3 Clients IP's available for linux machine? In the traffic in linux i only see win2k3's IP.

    Example:
    Linux IP 192.168.0.1
Win2k3 IP 192.168.1.1 (DHCP server for Clients + NAT)
    Clients IP RANGE 192.168.1.2-200

If Client Connects somewhere it shows to linux our win2k3 IP. How can i set it allso shows client ip?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the post.

Please understand that we don't need to use RAS for NAT. We could set Windows Server 2003 as a dedicated routerand let it provide routing services to all segments.
