InfoPath Site Content Type file creating 2 versions

    Pregunta

  • Hi,

I have an InfoPath form published as a site content type so I can use and store the form in multiple SharePoint libraries.  I have the XSN file saved in a Form Library with "major" version control so I can have copies of previous versions of the form available to me if I ever want to revert back to older copies.  The problem I have though is that every time I update the form and publish it to SharePoint, 2 new versions get created of the XSN file.  How can I fix this so only 1 new version is created each time I publish an updated form?  I put the version number on the form so I want to match that version number with the version number in SharePoint.

Basically, the problem I have right now is:

InfoPath v1.0 is on SharePoint as v1.0.

InfoPath v2.0 is on SharePoint as v2.0 and v3.0 with same date and size.

InfoPath v3.0 is on SharePoint as v4.0 and v5.0 with the same date and size.

    What I want is:

InfoPath v1.0 is on SharePoint as v1.0.

InfoPath v2.0 is on SharePoint as v2.0 .

InfoPath v3.0 is on SharePoint as v3.0.

    Thanks!
