已鎖定 HTTPS Inspection - Customized Error Message

    Hello,

we enabled the https inspection, but when a users surfs to a site which don’t have a valid certificate (self-signed) there is only the default Web-Browser error message, that the site isn’t reachable.

In the TMG Log is the reason 12226 noted, that’s OK, but we’d like that the Errormessage from the Errorhtml 12226.htm is shown to the User, that he knows why the access is blocked.

    --edit--

just found out that it works with Internet Explorer 7 but not with 8 or Firefox (3.6.3). Always the default browser Error-Pages (502 Proxy Error) are shown and not the TMG Error-Page.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

There is nothing ISA or TMG can do to force a client application to display our error messages if it chooses not to. You might disable “friendly error messages” in IE advanced configuration options.
