<shrug> that happens. Could happen for any numbers of reasons. In general, the client will self-correct itself with a full inventory later. If you are getting TONS, like every single client ends up as a badmif, then you should be concerned and start looking at the badmifs and figure out exactly what is the problem. But a couple badmifs here and there is normal--everyone gets them.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

This error could be related to your other problem with someone editing the database. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrreporting/thread/5e54a042-7271-4f45-b4e1-764fe32c1a76/#dc0aff71-eced-4593-8de2-79b22e57416d
I see from your other posts, you are trying to re-create v_R_System view http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/es-ES/sqlserveres/thread/649599e0-8f1e-435e-ba1a-112ba659eb68/#72ab45b5-29f4-4e0e-9a3f-4d241835cee2 ,I hope that was the only thing that we removed, I strongly suggest that you contact CSS as their maybe other issues that need to be addressed. Such as dependency on the v_R_System view may have been lost. For example on my v_R_System view I have 22 depends on the v_R_System View.

Yeah, wow... if you don't have v_r_system, then you have bigger issues. badmifs is nothing in that context. CALL FOR HELP. You won't be able to fix this on your own or through the forums.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.
