Unanswered SCSM 2012 - Data Warehouse Registration Failed

    Hi,

    I am trying to register a new Data Warehouse server in SCSM 2012. But when ever I try to register it I get the following error "The Data Access service is either not running or not yet initialized. Check the event log for more information."

    I can confirm that the Data Access Service is running. Also I have tried running the command "Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned " in powershell on the SCSM server but that makes no difference.

    Any ideas?

    Are the firewalls running on the servers?

    Hi Andreas,

    No the firewalls are disabled on both the Data Warehouse server and the SCSM server.

    Anyone?

    Also how could I test manually adding a DW server, such as through powershell?
