    I have installed exchange server 2010. And i can send successfully mails. But when is coming to receive mails it doesn't work. I have sent mails with yahoo mail and after a while it comes back with the following error ."Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, because the message was forwarded more than the maximum allowed times. This could indicate a mail loop."

    What it must be done? It worked before exchange 2010 without problem. I restarted the windows server for updates and since then i have this problem.

    Restart Transport service, if it's possible I would suggest to restart the exchange server.

    Can you paste the entire NDR message ot the complete error message. The error message would have server name which would be the server which generated the NDR. Once we know which server generated NDR then try to find out if anything is misconfigured on that server.

    I am sorry for the delayed answer and here it is what i got from the yahoo mail header

    Received-SPF: none (domain of motorauktioner.se does not designate permitted sender hosts)

    Try creating new send connector with address space Yahoo.com and send the mail

    Send me the error code if any problem repeats.

    I do not have an anitvirus, and i've created a new receive connector, but i didn't understand what was meaning address space.

    It happen the same thing, i can send but i cannot receive, and it's the same error. 

    Can you be more explicit please so i can follow, please. Thank you so much for your answer

    If it is with receive connector then you won't have any address space. Sorry for that

    any how let's try in this way

    1) Take one test client machine

    2) Remove the anti virus if any

    3) Open your yahoo account from the test machine

    4) try sending email to your other personal and cc to your exchange id.

    Send us the NDR if you get .

    i have 2 domains:

    motorauktioner.se and bytabud.com

    the test@bytabud.com is not able to receive mail. 

    And please can you explain me what is NDR?

    When we telnet to your domain we see below banner with version 7.5.7601.17514

    "220 WIN-476OIH45MF5.motorauktioner.se Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 7.5.7601.17514 ready at  Wed, 29 Feb 2012 09:54:03 +0100 "

    Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 7.5.7601.17514 is not an exchange server and looks to be an windows 2008 server with SMTP service.

    If you are still experiencing the problem then problem could be with mail loop between your gateway server(windows 2008 server with SMTP service) and exchange servers. Also problem could be with misconfigured users settings

    At this point i would suggest you to track the message on exchange server to see if the message is even reaching exchange. In many cases when the loop occurs we will see messages reaching exchange multiple times.

    If you are not able to determine cause of message loop from message tracking logs or by cheking exchange server seetings i would recomend you to open a case with MS.

    Can you try once again please, because i disabled like 2 hours ago the Client and Default on Hub Transport and i let enabled just the bytabud.com receive connector

    When i run best practices analyzer, Health Check this what it shows:

    "There were no writeable domain controllers found in Active Directory site 'bytyabud'. At least one writeable domain controller is required for Exchange to function properly." 

    bytyabud?? is spelled wrong... how do i correct that?

    As you saw i am newbie, and i do not know how to configure :(. The thing is i just installed everything from beginning as default as opportunity for me to learn. And it was working that exchange as was default installed. But after windows server made an update and i restarted the server, that's it no longer works. So if you have the patience and to explain in small steps where should i head to start to fix this i will be very grateful.

    Pradeep thank you so much men, it was the SMTP i just uninstall the SMTP server and that's it is working like a charm.
