No data when I replicated Exchange 2003 Public Folders to Exchange 2010

Sorry, this is a long post!
I am in the process of moving from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010. We had a Server 2003 box that did AD, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange 2003 for us. We have recently moved to a virtual environment and are migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.
I've already moved DHCP and moved all the mailboxes over to new virtual machines. Email is flowing fine. My problem now is with moving the public folders. The only thing we use public folders for is for sharing calendars, so I don't want to change to SharePoint.
The mailbox move was complete about 2 months ago and we have been running is a co-existing mode (with both 2003 and 2010 servers) for a while. I got a chance to start working on the migration again, and proceeded with decommissioning AD from the 2003 box. I think that's where I messed up. I didn't realize that the Public Folder database was still on the old 2003 box. After I completed the decommissioning of AD from the 2003 box, nobody had access to the Shared Calendars in the Public Folders.
I’ve now gone into the Public Folder Management Console in the 2010 machine and setup a replication for the Public Folders on the old server. Users can now see the public folders but there is no data on the calendars. Why are the folders replicating, but no data is being seen?

It's a hierarchies what you see and not the content.
Now you will have to create old sever in LAB environment (As it is) and restore the Public Folder Database (I hope you have the backup) Once it's done you can export the PF and import it on to exchange 2010.What is the outlook client you are using?

We have several different clients, 2003, 2007, and 2010.
We do have a backup, that I can turn into a VM and export things that way.
