Jawab Secure Item Deletetion (database and otherwise)

    We have an organization that would like to make sure that once they delete an item, that it's gone. And by gone they mean purged from the database, from any log files, from any devices, etc... Is that possible with Exchange 2007, and if not are there 3rd party utilities that can do that? I did some googling but didn't find much. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Item that has been deleted by user will be moved to deleted folder.

    If it is hard deleted, then it will remain until it reach the "Deleted Item Retention".

    So if you do not have deleted item retention settings, then the only possible recover method is backup.

    So for your question,  deleted item retention settings and backup should be considered.
