Activate Windows SBS 2008 evaulation with Volume license

martes, 07 de julio de 2009 16:17We have evaulated SBS 2008 Premium edition and have now purchased through volume licensing, only to find that Microsoft do not provide product keys for SBS 2008 (only pre-activated media for download). Unfortunately our problem is that we need to enter a product key to be able to activate our evaluation copy. We desparately do not want reinstall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had this same problem.
For any others searching for help on this topic, here's my 2 cents.
Extend your trial period: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948472
When you attempt to download your software, the MS Volume License site will decline your request and direct you to order a media kit. When you recieve your kit, you will get the activation key that you need.

Hi,
We have the same problem, please can somebody confirm without any doubt that we can install the evaluation copy and then activate with the key on the OLP (VLK) media kit when it arrives?
This would be much appreciated.
