    I'm having a lot of trouble with MS outlook 2003. When I click to open the program it normally takes, on average, abut 3-5 minutes to load. About 2 times out of 10 it won't load at all and my computer freezes. Anyone else having this problem?

    I think Vista not yet fully optimize to run old application. Even runnning Outlook 2007, some others also getting problem to sync with PPC. So, please report the bug to MS and waiting the next beta release of VIsta.

    I would also check to see if offline files has become enabled, that will slow the office down to a crawl.

    woo...you have try that in Vista? in XP....the offline file seem did not affect the Office2003 operation.

    I have spent over 10 hours on the phone with over 5 Dell technicians and still frustrated. 

     

    The latest operation that have marginally improved the problem is the deletion of Pc-Cillin and installation of Microsoft One Care (download from the main site).
