When I start Vista I see a grey screen with a oval like circle loading in the boot screen but with no graphics icon like on Xp it had a microsoft graphics and the oval cirlce on the bottom loading.

Second, Each time I load I get a screen that says " Boot manager" it makes me press enter or wait the 30 seconds to start. How can I get rid off this issue thta sometime it gets annoying.

To get rid of the boot manager question or to at least turn down the wait time.

Right click "Computer," then go to properties, then go to "advanced system settings" then click "continue," then click the "advanced" tab.

Under "startup and recovery" click "settings."  Now you can pick how you want windows to behave at startup.

If you un-click "time to display operating systems" then you will not see the boot manager at startup.

    Hello Fidel,

Duane took care of your second question; as for the first, the Beta 2 of Vista does not have a color splash screen like XP and the final release of Vista will. It's expected behavior, not anything wrong with your system.

Thank you for replying and helping. I was just wondering if it was my graphics card or was there something wrong. But thanks for clearing that up.
