Unanswered brand new out of the box startup crackle

    This started right from the beginning, what's going on with this stuttering windows startup?  I've looked at the other posts and can't believe what I am looking at.  Shall I send it back to HP under it's year guarantee or is it just a waste of time and I will have to live with it or disable startup windows sound.  At the moment everything else seems to be ok or will this effect everything...........................
