Legal Question: If I use my own retail RTM Product Key, can I use someone else's (newer) media to clean install my OS?

I purchased Vista Ultimate right after it came out.
Everyone knows what a nightmare pre-SP1 Vista was.
I'd like to install an SP2-integrated version right off the bat.
Can I use someone else's media (neighbour's, colleague's, or Igor in Ukraine) to install as long as I use my own product key?
I don't want to know if it's technically possible. I want to know if we are violating the TOS or EULA by doing so. It's hard doing things by the book.
TIA,
Waqqas

Thanks, Carey.
I have been receiving conflicting answers (all directly from Microsoft).
For my reference, can you provide me with a link to the TOS etc that support what you are telling me?
Other reps have told me that as long as my key is genuine and that the media type matches/accepts my key type, there should not be an issue (nor could they find anything in the EULA or TOS that further restricted what I was allowed to use).
Thanks in advance!

But is there one saying I can't? If so, could you provide a reference?
Thanks!

No. The important thing is the license and not the media. We assume you would use "genuine" Microsoft media.

Woops, before we close this off. Even though this applies to Windows 7 (and not Windows Vista) are Digital River publicly-downloadable ISO's considered genuine Microsoft media? After all, those are the ones that Microsoft asks you to download if you purchase a "Download Only" copy of Windows. Word on the Internet is that they are perfectly legal to download.
Thanks!
