    Hi there,

    I originally had Office enterprise edition 32bit installed on Windows 7 home premium 64bit.

    I uninstalled this version as i want to upgrade to office 2010 pro plus 64bit.

    The installation of office 2010 starts fine, although progress gets to ~99% before the installation hangs, and no further progress is made - I have tried this installation three times and the same result happens, even leaving the installation over night with no joy. The only resolution has been to cancel the installation process, and to use microsoft fixit 50450 after each failed attempt.

    I have since attempted to re-install the original office 2007 version as I need to be able to do work!!! - but the installation hangs in the same place. 

    Any suggestions/fixes would be welcome!

    Hi,

    1. Please remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites manually, Office 32-bit installer package or service may still remain in Operating system, more detailed steps you can refer to this like: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

    2. And start computer in clean boot to install Office 2010.
