The new BPA 1.2 says i need to upgrade the sharepoint databases

After upgrading and running the new BPA.
The BPA tels me i need to upgrade the share point databases.
But when i execute (get-spserver $env:computername).NeedsUpgrade the answer is False
Now i am a little puzzeled who is wright and who is wrong.
Or do they point to two complete different things.

How are you logged in as? That says "Localadmin" make sure you are logged in as a domain admin on the server.
When is the last time you ran a psconfig? You installed the SharePoint updates in February?

There are 2 sorts of SharePoint upgrades:
1. Binaries
2. Database schemas
You can update the binaries but not the schemas. Therefore the first graphic refers to the databases, the second refers to the binaries I would imagine.
If you go into SharePoint Central admin and select servers in farm see what it says there and what version it is. Then go and check the health reports where it will probably say databases are running 'incompatibility mode'. This simple means they don't have latest schema.
Bottom line? Run PSCONFIG to update everything.

The Localadmin is domain admin aswell. I only used the name because Administrator is not allowed anymore.
The last time i did run psconfig was when SP1 was released i think not totaly sure.
No i did not install any sharepoint updates that i can remember. The last one i could find is:

So there you go,your 2 database's require the update and hence you are getting the message in BPA.
You should run psconfig command.

Have not done anything yet wanted to wait your reply before i do things in the wrong order.
Have to say we do not use sharepoint and not going to use it either. So i am a noob on sharepoint. But i do not like warnings in the BPA.
So just say what i should do next

Yup, See first entry under category? Databases require upgrade or a not supported. If you don't want to see that message, edit the alert and disable it. I have a feeling that the BPA uses powershell so will show an error unless you upgrade databases.
As I said, if you want the error to go away in the BPA run PSCONFIG like you did for SP1, since most SharePOint patches these days also require changes to database schema. So you need to run PSCONFIG after ANY SharePoint 2010 update.

Have managed to get 1 SPDatabase oke now but have 1 left to upgrade.
Its the WSS_Search_{servername} database.
Have tried the PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures
Did gave the same error.

Hello!
After installing cumulative update package KB2597014 I faced with same problem, I tried to run "PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures" this operation end on task number 5 with error.

Did upgrade farm credentials as put out in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981487
Did a cold reboot.
After that i did run Repair-SPManagedAccountDeployment did not give any answer i just did get the prompt back.
Then i started psconfig wizard but that failed again.
to get things working again i need to start the following services by hand:
World Wide Web Publishing Service
Remote Desktop Gatway
SharePoint 2010 Timer
SharePoint 2010 VSS Writer

Not sure how i did it but it's fixed.
All databases give needsupgrade False
The last time i did run SPConfig i disabled the User Account Control.
