cannot enter new users into MDS???

I've been working with MDS RC0 until 2012 is setup. Have about 18 users in the MDS user group. Cannot enter any more. Two questions:
- anyone know a reason for this?
- does RC0 have an expiration date or what? could not find anything on how it works.

miércoles, 23 de mayo de 2012 15:15I do not believe there is any limit or expiration you could be running into. Are you getting an error when you try to create a new user?

Hi BI,
The user simply doesn't take...saying "No exact match was found for mydomain\myusername" even though the user is entered exactly as he appears in AD.
It's happening for several users.

HI Mel,
There is some expiration date for RC0, althought I dont know the exact formula for that. You should upgarde to RTM.

Interesting. So I'm wondering about the following:
- what is the degradation model for this version? is there a link that lays it out?
- our new, true SQL 2012 version is being stood up in the near future. I will need to migrate. I will need to migrate my model and data. I wonder how that will shake out.

This problem went away after a reboot. I can enter new users now.
