已答复 ESX hosted VMs showing no network adapters

Adding a VirtualCenter 4.0.0 server to SCVMM 2008 R2 works fine; ESXi U4 hosts and VMs all listed. However, under properties in the SCVMM console there are no network adapters listed for any of the ESX hosted VMs. From PowerShell, Get-VirtualNetworkAdapters also returns nothing. Confirmed that VirtualCenter console is showing network adapters and MAC addresses for the same set of VMs, including some VMs with multiple adapters.

Same SCVMM deployment is working 100% with single Hyper-V host.

Using the SCVMM console, if I add a network adapter this succeeds, querying with Get-VirtualNetworkAdapter returns a record but the physical address property return null. If I then change this new network adapter from a dynamic to a generated static address using the console, I get the following:

    Error (2871)
The value provided for the MAC address is not valid or is an incorrectly formatted address for the VM <vm-name> on the NO_PARAM server.

    Recommended Action
Enter a valid unicast MAC address in the format xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.

From this point on the properties for this VM don't refresh. I have tried "repairing" the VM with both retry and ignore options, but it is now just stuck in an "Update Failed" state. Surely some bugs here?

    Thanks.
