    Just convinced my client to move to windows7, we now cannot setup the HP 6300 series printer.Drivers where successfully loaded to the laptop but does recognise the USB printer or port. Before the switch to windows7 it worked fine with Vista.USB flash disk works but USB printer is unknown device and no option to search for drivers either locally or on the internet

    how can i solve this - urgent - the laptopis for the director of the company????

    Hello,

    From what i am seeing on the HP Site for information about this device is that the drivers have not been updated since March 2007.  I also see that they have some update available for a reason similar to what you are explaining.

    Critical Update to Enhance Reliability of Network and USB Connectivity

    You may wish to go to the site and get the appropriate update for your printer for the system and see if it helps.  If this update does not help then you may have to wait until HP gets a appropriate Win7 Driver out.
