Manage default printers in Windows 7

I understand that the manage default printers option is only available in premium editions of Windows 7, but I guess Home PREMIUM is not considered a premium edition because I don't see the option.
Is there any work around besides manually changing the default every other week? Is there a registry entry that I can set/change?

This feature is only available in premium editions of Windows 7. It's also only found on laptops and other portable devices that use a battery.

What I was asking was if there was a work around, such as a change to one or more registry keys. Surely the setting to turn it on must be set somewhere. And the link between the network and the printer driver must be set somewhere.

Hi,
There is no workaround to set this function in registry. The feature is only available in Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate or Enterprise.
